By Car
There is ample parking for evening performances in the streets surrounding Parade Theatres and NIDA, including Anzac Parade, Doncaster Avenue, Day Avenue and Mooramie Avenue.
A new 108 space car park in the Western Campus of UNSW located adjacent to the Parade Theatre (entry off Anzac Parade) is available to patrons of the Parade Theatres and NIDA free of charge after 7pm on week nights and free all day and night on weekends.
Patrons can also park free-of-charge inside UNSW after 7pm and all day on weekends (check signage for restricted areas). The most convenient entrance to UNSW parking is Gate 2 on High Street (opposite the entrance to the Australian Jockey Club). Parade Theatres and NIDA are only a 5 minute walk away.
Public Transport
Coming from the CBD
To the east of the city of Sydney, buses run regularly from Circular Quay (Stand E), along Elizabeth Street, Oxford Street and then onto Anzac Parade. It takes approximately 30 minutes to travel from Circular Quay to NIDA. Alight at the main entrance to UNSW and cross Anzac Parade at the pedestrian lights.
Bus routes include the:
392, 394, L94, 396, 397 and 399
There is also a university bus during university terms, the 890 which turns just before NIDA into High Street. If catching this bus you will need to alight at the first stop after it turns, walk back towards Anzac Parade and cross at the traffic lights at the corner of Anzac Parade and High Street.
Coming from Central Station
Buses run regularly from central Station (Stand C) in Eddy Avenue. It takes approximately 30 minutes to travel from Central to NIDA. Alight at the main entrance to UNSW and cross Anzac Parade at the pedestrian lights.
Bus routes include the:
391, 393 and 395
There is also a University bus during University terms, the 891 (or 895 express) which turns just before NIDA into High Street. If catching this bus you will need to alight at the first stop after it turns, walk back towards Anzac Parade and cross at the traffic lights at the corner of Anzac Parade and High Street.
